So if anyone has started the reading and doesn't have any questions by now must be some sort of genius. What is the deal with the first two chapters? I thought Joshua died, but he lives and then he dies again? What gives?

Ya, what is the deal with that? I think that a couple of the chapters overlap and Some of the judges were alive during th last few years of Joshua's life and working during them. It is like that with another one of the judges later on in the book. I will remember hold on a sec.............It seems that Deborhah was live while Shamgar was a judge for Isreal also. Both are mentioned to have begun working after Ehud's death.
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

That sounds good. I haven't done any reasearch yet, but the book feels like it's structured by themes and not by exact time period or order of events.
