The saddest verse in the entire Bible (thus far)...
Numbers 14:4 "So they said to one another, 'Let us appoint a leader and return to Egypt.'"
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
